Water Supply Sewerage Management Office Butwal bid addendum
The Water Supply and Sewerage Management Office, Butwal, Rupandehi has issued a bid addendum amending the bidding documents of two water supply construction contracts. The addendum, published on 17 October 2026, applies to the contracts first advertised in Gorkhapatra Daily on 28 September 2026.
For the Bhaluhi Co-financing Water Supply Project at Devdaha-9 and 10 in Rupandehi, contract 01/083-84/NCB/Works/CF/WSSMOBTL, Addendum No. 01 changes the unit of two bill of quantities items from cubic metre to square metre. The items are BoQ item 53, supplying and laying a base course of sand and clay 100 to 150 mm thick including loading, transportation of material and spraying and levelling of the surface, and BoQ item 57, dismantling of blacktopped pavement works including disposal of material from the construction area.
For the construction of the entire works of the Imliya Water Supply Project at Buddhabhumi-09 in Kapilvastu, contract 02/083-84/NCB/Works/C/WSSMOBTL, the addendum changes the unit of BoQ item 342, the supply, transportation and installation of a telephone socket with accessories, from running metre to numbers. It also amends the description of BoQ item 145: bidders now price the supply and delivery only of the 20 mm PN16, PE-100 HDPE pipe as complete work, as the earlier wording covering laying and jointing with butt welding has been removed.
