Key details of the Nepal Telecom Surkhet optical fiber quotation
The Nepal Telecom Surkhet optical fiber quotation invites sealed rate quotations for pre-connectorized optical fiber drop cable. Nepal Doorsanchar Company Ltd issued the notice through its Provincial Directorate in Surkhet, Karnali Province, with first publication on 15 October 2026.
Companies and firms that want to supply the drop cable must hold tax clearance up to fiscal year 082/83 or an extended deadline. The sealed quotation form costs NRs 3,000, which is non-refundable, and the fee must be deposited at Citizen Bank International Limited, Surkhet branch. The form can be collected from the Provincial Directorate office in Surkhet. The directorate plans to use the drop cable to extend last-mile optical connectivity across Karnali Province.
Sealed quotations must reach the Provincial Directorate by 11:45 AM on 3 November 2026, the 20th day from the date of publication. Each quotation must be backed by a bid bond of NRs 230,000, either through a cash deposit in the NDCL Deposit Contractors account or a bank guarantee from a Nepal Rastra Bank recognised class A bank. The quotations will be opened at 12 noon on 3 November 2026 at the Provincial Directorate, Surkhet. If that day is a public holiday, the opening moves to the next working day. Bidders or their authorised representatives are welcome to attend the opening.
