Infrastructure Development Minister Er. Sunil Lamsal shared the milestone in a video update, announcing that the Bailey bridge at Betrawati has now been spanned across the river.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the minister, only the remaining installation work on the bridge is left. The structure stands on the Rasuwa-Nuwakot border, where the previous bridge was washed away by the Bhotekoshi flood. Crews are working to complete the remaining installation by Saturday, October 10, after which transport will be brought into operation.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The minister&#8217;s update marks a new milestone compared to his earlier post on October 7, when night installation work was underway with a target of bringing the bridge into operation by Sunday, October 11. A Bailey bridge, a prefabricated modular steel structure that can be assembled quickly, is the standard emergency solution for restoring such links.
