{"id":525,"date":"2026-10-05T00:17:29","date_gmt":"2026-10-05T00:17:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eve-construction.com\/?p=525"},"modified":"2026-10-05T00:17:32","modified_gmt":"2026-10-05T00:17:32","slug":"muglin-pokhara-road-west-section","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eve-construction.com\/%e0%a4%a8%e0%a5%87%e0%a4%aa%e0%a4%be%e0%a4%b2%e0%a5%80\/muglin-pokhara-road-west-section\/","title":{"rendered":"Muglin Pokhara Road West Section to Finish by November"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Muglin Pokhara road west section, the 38.41-kilometre four-lane stretch from Jamune to Pokhara, will be completed by November, Infrastructure Development Minister Sunil Lamsal announced on Tuesday, after his ministry resolved three bottlenecks that had been holding back the final phase of construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The minister identified the three problems: electricity poles that had not been relocated were disrupting work at several points on the west section; land acquisition for the Madi bridge approach road was stuck; and a dispute over relocating the Damauli division office building had stalled progress. After the ministry identified the issues and facilitated with the concerned agencies, construction on the Muglin Pokhara road west section has reached its final stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the ministry&#8217;s facilitation, the pole-shifting work is now complete, the dispute over land for the Madi bridge approach road has been resolved, and agreement has been reached to construct a new building for the Damauli division, with the construction process moved forward through tender.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Muglin Pokhara road west section: bridges and service lanes nearly done<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main structures on the Muglin Pokhara road west section are largely finished. The minister said bridge construction, including the main structures, is complete, and the main four-lane road is done. Of the 38 kilometres of service lane, about 32 kilometres are complete; footpaths and the remaining 6 kilometres of service lane were held up by the pole-shifting issue and will now also finish by November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 310-metre Madi arch bridge structure is complete, with only finishing works and the approach road remaining. The 190-metre Seti bridge is about 70 percent complete, with the remaining work scheduled for completion by April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The minister added two forward-looking items. To make road safety more effective, a further study for durable prevention of risky landslides is in its final stage before going to tender. And on the roughly 8-kilometre Muglin to Abu Khaireni stretch, about 4 kilometres will be built from across the Marsyangdi river, with the tender process already started. The east section from Abu Khaireni to Jamune is already complete, which puts the whole Muglin-Pokhara project in its finishing phase as the main entry to the tourist city of Pokhara and Gandaki
